How can I view the county records on microfilm held at the Archives?

Answer

An index for county records on microfilm can be viewed on the Texas State Library and Archives Commission website. You must first locate the county you are interested in, and then the reel number.


Microfilm can be viewed at Waters Library by making an appointment with the Archives.


Microfilm can also be requested through inter-library loan. Please ensure that your local library has a microfilm reader and inter-library loan capabilities. If so, you will need to provide your library with the county name and reel number you want to view. The library will then need to submit a request to borrow the microfilm by emailing archives@tamuc.edu.
