Why am I getting a "Login Error: Your login does not have access to the online resources. If you continue to receive this message please contact the Libraries" message?

Answer

Example of Login Error message

If you are a Student that means that you are not registered for the current or upcoming semesters. If this is incorrect and you are registered for a current or upcoming semesters, please contact the library at LibERM@tamuc.edu and we will work to troubleshoot the problem. If you are not yet registered for the current or upcoming semesters, you will not have access to library resources.

If you are Faculty/Staff that usually means that you do not have VPN access activated. Contact campus IT at helpdesk@tamuc.edu and let them know that you need GlobalProtect VPN added to your computer. You will not need to use the VPN to access library resources, but you need to be in the VPN group to have Single Sign-on (SSO) authentication.
