How can I check out a study room?

Answer

Study rooms are located on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th floors. A study room key must be checked out at the Customer Service Desk.

Rooms are checked out on a first come, first served basis and may be used up to 2 hours at a time, with renewals allowed as availability permits.

All study room keys must be returned 30 min. before closing. See our Library Hours for closing times.

There are 27 study rooms, 3 music carrels, 1 studio, and 1 lactation room that can be booked. **

  • Visit the Information Desk to pick up your key. The person who booked the room must present their CWID card to pick up the key.
  • Rooms can be booked up to 4 hours per day.
  • Review all study room policies before using a room. 
  • A university issued email address must be used when booking a room.
  • Descriptions of a room can be found by clicking on the room link on the availability webpage.
  • Directions to the room can be found in the room description.

Study room users will abide by the Texas A&M University-Commerce Code of Conduct. A lost key charge of $25.00 will be assessed for keys not returned.
